Woodlands Drama Group have been performing for over 50 years.

 

We're continually striving to expand our artistic boundaries and to produce high quality works outside the standard amateur repertoire.

We have two productions a year at Harrogate Theatre Studio and an annual 'Fringe Event' at St Roberts Club, an evening of shorter plays in a relaxed environment.

 

Every Spring we take part in a regional All England Theatre Festival competition

where we've regularly won major trophies.

We pride ourselves on producing an eclectic programme of drama and comedy including: Checkov and Gogol; Godber and Aykbourn; Dennis Potter and Alan Bennett; Polly Teale and Willy Russell; Terry Prachett and Sue Townsend. Our members have also written new plays and adapted classics.
